Lilli Ann Haskell, 71

Lilli Ann Haskell, 71, formerly of Lehighton, Pa., passed away recently at her home in Coeur d'Alene. She was the wife of the late Edward Haskell of Aberdeen, S.D. She and her husband were artists and exhibited many of their paintings at the Granary Rural Community Center in Groton, S.D. In her earlier years, she did social services work in Florida.

She graduated from Houghton College in Houghton, NY in 1961 with a BA in Sociology and Psychology. She received a Graduate Professional Certificate in Social Work from Florida State University in 1963.

Born in Palmerton, Pa., she was a daughter of Paul C. and Lillian C. Kresge (Behler). After the death of her mother, she was raised by her stepmother, Marian Kresge (Weiss). She is survived by her sister, Ella Priscilla Nicholson of Austin, Texas, and three brothers, Conrad B. of Parker, Ariz.; Paul C. Jr. of Danville, Pa.; and Charles E. of Whittier, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are pending. Contributions in her name may be made to an animal welfare organization of your choice.
