Labor office to open in Post Falls Nov. 1

POST FALLS — The Idaho Department of Labor is scheduled to open its building in Post Falls on Nov. 1, one week earlier than the agency's last estimate.

The $3 million, 17,000-square foot regional office is being built along Interstate 90 between the Highway 41 interchange and the Northern Idaho Advanced Care Hospital on 2.9 acres.

The agency is slated to move from a building it leases at 1221 W. Ironwood Dr. in Coeur d'Alene on Oct. 29.

The new facility will have more parking spaces, an additional conference room and more room for job seekers to research employment opportunities.
