Roy Oswalt and a pair of relievers combined on a one-hitter and the NL East-leading Philadelphia Phillies beat visiting Atlanta 1-0 Wednesday night for their 10th straight win, increasing their bulge over the Braves to six games.

Raul Ibanez hit an RBI double with two outs in the eighth inning for the only run, helping the two-time NL champions reduce their magic number for clinching their fourth straight division title to four.

Brewers 13, Reds 1: Cincinnati pitcher Aaron Harang hobbled off after being hit in the leg by a line drive and the NL Central-leading Reds lost at Milwaukee.

Pirates 11, Cardinals 6: Pedro Alvarez homered and drove in four runs and host Pittsburgh extended St. Louis' late-season collapse.

Any combination of losses by St. Louis or wins by first-place Cincinnati totaling three will eliminate St. Louis from a division race it led much of the season.

Cubs 2, Giants 0: Kosuke Fukudome homered to lead Chicago past visiting San Francisco.

Padres 3, Dodgers 1: Miguel Tejada hit his 300th career home run and San Diego won at Los Angeles to reclaim first place from San Francisco in the topsy-turvy NL West race.

Diamondbacks 8, Rockies 4: At Phoenix, Adam LaRoche, Stephen Drew and Kelly Johnson homered to Arizona beat Colorado.

The Rockies lost a half-game in the NL West race, falling three behind San Diego.

Marlins 7, Mets 5: Wes Helms had two of his three RBIs in a five-run first inning, and Florida held off New York.

Nationals 4, Astros 3: Danny Espinosa hit a go-ahead, two-run homer in the seventh, helping Washington beat visiting Houston.

Rays 7, Yankees 2: Carl Crawford and Evan Longoria hit consecutive homers, and Tampa Bay pulled within 1? games of New York in the AL East.

Tigers 4, Royals 2: Miguel Cabrera's leadoff single started a three-run fifth and Detroit beat visiting Kansas City.

White Sox 4, Athletics 3: Mark Teahen hit a go-ahead double in the ninth right after pinch-hitter Mark Kotsay's tying RBI single and Chicago rallied at Oakland.

Twins 5, Indians 1: At Minneapolis, Nick Blackburn pitched seven solid innings and Minnesota beat Cleveland.
