Lake City holds on to beat Ferris

| September 21, 2010 9:00 PM

COEUR d'ALENE - Kassie Torres scored off a feed from Alyssa Allen and the Lake City Timberwolves held on to tie Ferris 1-1 in nonleague play at Lake City High School.

"We had a lot of kids out for various reasons," T-Wolves coach Matt Ruchti said. "It was one of those games we didn't play particularly well - we just didn't have enough to put it away."

Ruchti said Lake City missed a shot on an open goal and also had one hit off the post.

"Ferris played a lot of kids and was successful in disrupting the flow of play," he said.
