Missing woman has been found

A woman reported missing has been found.

Candice Marie Notarstefano, 21, was reported missing by her sister on Sept. 11. Family members had last seen her in July.

Coeur d'Alene police sent out a press release Sunday stating she had been located.

N.I. Council wins FEMA award

A council of emergency management professionals from the five Northern Idaho counties has been selected to receive a national award from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The North Idaho Citizen Corps Council was recognized as "Outstanding Council Serving a Rural Area," and will be presented with the award during a ceremony next week in Washington, D.C.

The council was chosen for the award because of its work to involve citizens in emergency management agencies and to prepare the residents of North Idaho for emergencies.
