COEUR d'ALENE - Ownership has changed this month for two Coeur d'Alene businesses - 360 Fitness and the Wine Cellar.

360 Fitness

Bo Sullivan-Day, Coeur d'Alene, has purchased the assets of 360 Fitness, located at 410 W. Neider Ave., in Coeur d'Alene.

The 2-year-old business employs 14 people and leases 14,500 square feet of floor space. Sullivan-Day bought the business from Joe Mayo and Jim Kenney, he said.

"I think it has a lot of potential and room for growth," Sullivan-Day said Thursday.

Sullivan-Day has been a fitness specialist for the Exercise Institute for more than two years. He plans to continue his work there with Institute owner Mike Teater.

"I look forward to doing future business with Mike," Sullivan-Day said. "I think he's a leader in the industry in the area. I'd like to match this place, business-wise, with what he's done at the Institute."

Sullivan-Day also worked for a year and a half for Anytime Fitness in Post Falls and Liberty Lake.

At 360 Fitness, Sullivan-Day said he is adding more classes and plans to hire more trainers.

"I want to have (360 Fitness) be more class driven and trainer driven than what it was before," Sullivan-Day said.

He took over ownership the first of this month.

Wine Cellar

Local businessman Tom Power and his wife, Patricia, have purchased the Wine Cellar restaurant, along with the buildings at 313 and 315 E. Sherman Ave. in downtown Coeur d'Alene.

Mary Jay, general manager of the Wine Cellar, said Thursday that the new owners "are really going to be hands on."

The Wine Cellar, at 313 Sherman Ave., employs 20 people, Jay said. All Things Irish is located at 315 Sherman Ave. The Powers don't own that business, just the property, Jay said.

Tom Power is president and CEO of Sunshine Minting Inc., of Coeur d'Alene, with operations in Henderson, Nev., and Shanghai, China. The Powers own and operate Power Audio and Video, a home theater installation and integration company in Post Falls.

The Powers thanked Rick Gunther of Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty for his help with the purchase process.
