Baker cleared to practice at Montana

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Montana post Katie Baker said she's been cleared to practice full-time with the Lady Griz in preseason workouts.

Baker told the Missoulian she was cleared a week ago to start running to test her left knee and it felt fine, so the doctor gave her the OK to practice.

The former Lake City High star and Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy graduate led the Lady Griz with 11.5 points and 6.9 rebounds as a freshman, before suffering an ACL injury in her left knee on Jan. 8 against Eastern Washington.
