Cleanup pickups set in Post Falls

POST FALLS - Special free pickups have been scheduled for the next two Saturdays to help Post Falls city residents with their fall cleanup.

This Saturday's pickup will be for residents on regular Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday trash routes. The Sept. 25 pickup will be for those on Thursday and Friday routes.

Yard cleanup items must be placed at the street by 6:30 a.m. the day of the pickup. There will not be callbacks or extensions of pickup dates.

Items can be no larger than 4 feet in height and 4 feet in width. Items not accepted include appliances, furniture, tires, motors, auto body parts, concrete, stone debris and hazardous materials such as paint and motor oil.

Items from businesses and construction sites will not be collected.
