ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Senior quarterback Matt Lickfold threw a pair of touchdown passes to Zach Carter as the Post Falls Trojans defeated Centennial Secondary School of Coquitlam, British Columbia, 51-6 in a nonleague game on Saturday at Ellensburg High.

Trevor Wood and Tyson Johnson had two rushing touchdowns apiece for Post Falls (2-0), which jumped out to a 38-6 halftime lead. Curtis Wiltse also scored a rushing touchdown for Post Falls.

"I thought our kids came out and played well," Post Falls coach Jeff Hinz said. "We jumped on them early and played a good game on both sides of the ball."

Post Falls also had two blocked punts by Jose Chavez, with one resulting in a first-half safety.

"We played real aggressive today," Hinz said. "Those blocked punts gave us some real good field position. All the kids played real hard today."

Johnny Haskew, Cody Siegel and Kyle English also had interceptions for Post Falls, who host East Valley on Friday.
