CANDIDATES: Question their views, opinions

As the November election grows nearer, let's take a look at our choices for Representative for the 1st U.S. Congressional District. Many voters do not really know the difference between Walt Minnick and Raul Labrador. Did you know that Walt Minnick voted against the ‘Stupak' amendment which was against using federal taxpayer's money to fund abortion and now your federal tax dollars do just that? As for the ‘immigration ‘ issue, even though Raul Labrador is an immigration lawyer, he is against amnesty for illegal aliens while Walt Minnick is for it. I do agree with Jan Conner, My Turn - Tuesday Sept 7, that as voters we all have the right to question any candidate on their views and positions.
