LABRADOR: Compare him to the incumbent

Now that our Idaho summer appears over, we can and should turn our attention to the upcoming General election; there are only 52 days until election day, Nov. 2.

One of the most important races is in Congressional District One. Democrat Walt Minnick is up for reelection. He has a huge campaign war chest and will not hesitate to use every penny of it for saturation media messages. As he did two years ago, the ads will minimize that he is a Democrat, and portray him as a conservative. Don't be fooled.

His Republican opponent, Raul Labrador, doesn't have all that money, and as of now, a lot of folks don't know much about him. Raul has been a member of the Idaho Legislature, where he is known and respected as a true conservative. He will be elected as voters figure out the real differences between Republican Labrador and Democrat Minnick. Please clip out this letter and remind yourself often what just some of the differences are between them.

On each of the following 10 points, when elected, Labrador will vote the way most Idaho voters would, the right way!

2. Amnesty for Illegal Aliens: Minnick-Yes, Labrador-NO

3. Taxpayer funded Abortion: Minnick-Yes, Labrador-NO

4. Gun Rights: Minnick-2008 NRA Rating "D," Labrador-2008 NRA Rating "A"

5. Close Guantanamo: Minnick cast deciding Yes vote, Labrador NO

6. Negotiations with Terrorists: Minnick-Yes, Labrador-NO

7. Raise Taxes: Minnick-Yes, Labrador-NO

8. Re-impose Death Tax: Minnick-Yes, Labrador-NO

9. Don't Ask, Don't Tell: Minnick voted Yes to repeal, Labrador-NO

10. ObamaCare: Nancy Pelosi did not need his vote, so Minnick voted against it.

But he has now stated he would not vote to repeal. Labrador would have never voted for it, and when elected, he will vote to repeal it.

Idaho needs a true Republican Conservative as its District One Congressman. Raul Labrador deserves your vote. Charlatan phony-conservative incumbent Walt Minnick does not.
