HARRISON - A car and boat show, chili cookoff and music will be held in Harrison this weekend at the southern end of Lake Coeur d'Alene.

A classical fiberglass boat show will be held on Harrison's waterfront on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There is no registration fee and anyone who believes they have a classic fiberglass boat is urged to come show it off.

"The boat show is a test event and, if it's a success, we'll incorporate it into Haul Ass to Harrison (car and motorcycle show)," said Paul Hoskinson, event organizer.

The 12th annual Haul Ass to Harrison Show and Shine and chili cookoff will be held at City Park on Sunday.

The car and boat show are both free to the public.

Registration, $15 for cars and free for motorcycles, starts at 8:30 a.m. Registration can be done the morning of the show.

The chili cookoff starts at 11 a.m.

Prizes and raffles will be awarded at about 2:30 p.m. The show lasts until about 4 p.m.

Robb Boatsman and Rampage will provide music most of the afternoon.
