GAYS WED: Support means rejecting God

| September 5, 2010 10:00 PM

Once again homosexuality (i.e., same sex marriage) is making headlines. Rather than looking at this issue from a political point of view, let us use some common sense and examine it from a logical, scientific and theological perspective. Whether you believe in the theory of evolution or in a Master Designer Creator it is important that we examine a few undeniable facts.

For the sake of this examination let's assume that the theory of evolution is factually correct. Life and our surroundings as we know them today began with a big bang or slowly evolved from a slimy glob to a single cell then over millions of years to the present complex life. However, a few questions have not been satisfactorily answered.

First, how did the many complex species of life evolve into two distinct genders (male and female)? In the structure of humans the male and female sexes are wonderfully designed to meet the emotional and physical needs of their spouses in the context of a loving marital relationship. They are perfectly equipped for reproductive functions.

Secondly, if gays and lesbians are the result of the evolutionary process why do they have the desire to reproduce without the possibility to reproduce normally as all other species? The fact is gays and lesbians in same sex unions will never biologically be able to reproduce normally.

Truth is that homosexuality is the result of mankind rejecting the Creator. Romans 1:21-28. Man has rejected the Creator's plan because he does not want to deal with the moral side of the issue. If we could only accept the fact that God has given us His moral laws for our GOOD! In this case it is so men and women can enjoy sexual relations more fully. Yet man in his rebellion thinks he can improve on God's plan. But reality has proven that man's plans are always inferior and extremely destructive.

Trying to answer these few questions apart from all other unanswered questions pertaining to the theory of evolution should be enough to cause us to take a second look at the plan of an all-wise Designer Creator.

God's plan is looking better all the time!
