Horton, Lake City blank Bulldogs

COEUR d'ALENE - Goalkeeper Tanner Horton had six saves to lead the Lake City Timberwolves past the Sandpoint Bulldogs 3-0 on Friday at the Irma Anderl Soccer Complex.

"I was a lot happier for the guys today than on Monday," Lake City coach Chad Beadell said. "This was our third match and my guys gave me everything they had today - all 19 guys. Our guys off the bench played huge minutes. It was a great and amazing team effort for this point in the season."

Luka Zirotti, Chris Wheelock and Luke Barrette had second half goals for Lake City (2-1), which travels to Lewiston on Thursday.

Kanyen Bower had three saves for Sandpoint (4-2-1).
