Wednesday

10:40 p.m.: A Freedom Arms and a Davis Industries handgun with a total value of $1,600 were reported stolen from a 1962 GMC pickup parked on a mountain on West Riverview Drive and South Spokane Street near Post Falls.

1:58 p.m.: Cash amounting to about $1,500 was reported as possible embezzlement by a business located in the 10100 block of North Tayne Street in Hayden. A former employee is a suspect.
