Rathdrum Lions to hold breakfast

RATHDRUM - The Rathdrum Lions Club will hold a Labor Day breakfast fundraiser at 16114 N. Meyer Road along Highway 53 on Monday from 7-11 a.m.

Cost is $5. The breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee and juice.

At noon the Lions will have a drawing for their Mustang raffle. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the event.

There is also a drawing for $100 and $50. Attendees must be present to win the cash, but not the car.

Lloyd named Phi Theta Kappa Officer

Kayla C. Lloyd was elected scholarship coordinator of the Delta Kappa Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges.

Phi Theta Kappa membership is based on academic achievement, and members are also provided opportunities for growth and development in scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship.

Lloyd, from Coeur d'Alene, is the daughter of Steven and Andrea Lloyd of Meridian.

She is majoring in theater at North Idaho College, and is planning to transfer to University of Idaho.
