PAPPAS: Eight is enough
Let me count the times!
Am I the only one, or does it seem like Jimmy Pappas is on the editorial board of The Press? I count EIGHT times that his comments have been posted from March 4, 2010, 2010, to Aug. 29, 2010.
That does not count the THREE times he has shown up in the Spokesman Review. Easy to verify, just do the search and up he pops. Maybe it's a family thing; favoritism maybe, but I wouldn't know that for sure as I quit reading his stuff after the first one, and at the end of it I had one question; HUH?
There just seems to be something very strange going on here. I realize that lots of folks have opinions and would like to express First Amendment rights through the print media, but this is really odd. He sounds like he hates about 95 percent of the people for even existing without his permission. Maybe The Press and Review make up the other 5 percent.
If someone could explain this weirdness to me, then I'm all ears! I guess it's really OK with me because I am about two or three comic strips making political statements away from canceling my subscription to both of them. It's a bad state of affairs when the only enjoyment from the paper is scanning the letters to see if Jimmy's name pops up again, the adventures of Alley Oop, the Piranha Club and Tundra.
Final thoughts: Is there more of this going on than I have noticed?
