ENGLISH: A caring, reliable county clerk

I'm writing this letter about the upcoming elections and a vote of confidence for our long-time Kootenai County Clerk Dan English.

I have known Dan for many years dating back to the early 1980s when I first met him while he was director of Youth for Christ and then being the founder of Anchor House where I worked for 17 years before retiring. During this period of time I had opportunities to get to know Dan and especially see his basic values and integrity firsthand. He exemplified these areas by showing his care and concern for the youth he dealt with and using his ideas to better their lives.

As for any political party lines I do not feel that matters at all when choosing the right person for a position where we rely on his doing what is right for the citizens of Kootenai County. He is a proven and reliable county clerk and needs to be reelected.
