Thanksgiving Derby ends

SANDPOINT - Dean Granberg ended a Post Falls angler's seven-day reign atop the rainbow trout standings on Sunday, the final day of the Lake Pend Oreille Idaho Club's Thanksgiving Derby.

Granberg hauled in a 16-pound, 13-ounce rainbow that measured 33 3/4 inches, knocking Roy Stokes into second place. Stokes had held the top spot since the derby commenced on Nov. 20.

Sean Reiber of Spokane vaulted to the top of the lake trout standings after weighing in an 11-pound, 5-ounce Mackinaw on Sunday. The 32-inch laker moved Dave Ivy of Sagle into second place. Ivy lead the Mackinaw standings throughout the derby.

Dylan Peterson rounded out the Youth A standings with a 13-inch rainbow trout on Sunday.
