Barbara Ann Barnes, 53

Aug. 24, 1957 - Nov. 21, 2010

Barbara raised her sons in the Fresno, Calif., area and moved to Coeur d'Alene about 13 years ago. Barbara was a fifth generation descendant of Chief Joseph.

She was preceded in death by her son, Branden Benoy.

She was survived by her sons, Trever Benoy, Shane Colwell; her daughter-in-law, Amber Benoy; and her grandchildren, Raymond Benoy, Kaiden Colwell and Natasha Colwell. There were very many kids she took in and they considered her their Mom too.

Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at The Heart of the City Church, 521 West Emma, Coeur d'Alene.
