Katherine E. Westerberg, 92

Katherine E. Westerberg, 92, passed away Nov. 20, 2010, in Coeur d'Alene. She was born Dec. 27, 1917, to Luther and Ermine (Atwood) Turbyfill in Grimes, Okla. She was the third of four daughters.

She graduated from Cheyenne High School in Cheyenne, Okla. She married R.L. Gamble and had a daughter Patricia Anne.

Katherine moved to the Tacoma, Wash., area and then to Coeur d'Alene.

Katherine and R.L. divorced and she met and married James Westerberg in 1958.

She is survived by husband James, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her three sisters and daughter Patricia.

Her hobbies included knitting, quilting and cooking.

Viewing was held Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at English Funeral Chapel ,1133 N. Fourth. St., Coeur d'Alene.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
