SKYWAY: Hecla Mining donates

The Skyway Elementary fourth-grade classes would like to thank Hecla Mining for their recent and generous donation. The money given in support of our Idaho History Curriculum will bring to life, with a hands-on experience, lessons that they have thus far only been able to read about in a textbook.

With this donation, we will be able to take our students on a field trip to the Silver Valley where they will tour a mine and learn about the role of mining in our state.

In these hard economic times, we appreciate the support of local businesses such as Hecla Mining so that we may be able to continue to provide a quality education for the students of the Coeur d'Alene School District.
