Resort offers Otter book

| November 19, 2010 8:00 PM

The Coeur d'Alene Resort is now offering copies of Idaho first lady Lori Otter's new book.

"Ida Tours the 44: A Book of Idaho's Counties" tells the story of a barnstorming pilot who takes children on a tour of Idaho. Brightly illustrated by artist Ward Hooper, the book profiles the state's geography, history and unique characteristics.

Otter, a former teacher, includes interesting facts and word puzzles, and has geared her book toward audiences as diverse as elementary students and inquisitive tourists.

The 100-page book is published by Boise State University. All proceeds go directly to benefit education.

"Ida Tours the 44" is available at The Resort Logo Shop at The Coeur d'Alene Resort and the pro shop at The Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course for $19.95.
