Loper, a freshman from Post Falls High, was named the Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week. Loper led the Pride with 17 points against the University of Virginia on Friday in an 82-66 loss as she scored 12 of her 17 points in the first half, adding two steals and one assist in her debut.

Reid, a freshman from Post Falls High, had six points in 23 minutes for the Bobcats in a nonconference game against Hawaii on Saturday in Honolulu.

Kandice McArthur

McArthur, a junior guard from Post Falls High, led the Boxers with nine rebounds on Monday in their season-opening 98-72 loss to Concordia at Forest Grove, Ore. McArthur scored seven points and had five assists in 28 minutes.

Griffard, a junior from Coeur d'Alene High, was named a Student-Athlete of the Week after qualifying for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championships with a second-place finish in the 400 yard individual medley in 4 minutes and 29.73 seconds. He also qualified with a first-place finish in the 200 breaststroke.

Drager, a freshman from Coeur d'Alene, had 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the floor in the Lady Yotes' (2-2) win over Montana Western in Salt Lake City on Saturday night. Drager is second on the team in points scored, averaging 12.8 per game.

Robby Astin

Astin, a sophomore from Coeur d'Alene High, was an honorable mention to the Pacific West Athletic Conference team. Astin tallied the most on-field time for the Red Storm this season with 1,427 minutes played in 18 starts. Dixie State finished the season in fourth place with an 8-9-1 record.

Meehan, a freshman from Post Falls High, had 10 kills and 15 digs for the Warriors in a conference win over Treasure Valley on Friday.
