Audrey Mae Mader, 78

Audrey Mae Mader (Dolly), of Rathdrum, born April 9, 1932, in Benedict, Minn., to Bernard and Myrtle (Countryman) Johnson, passed away Nov. 10, 2010, at Pinewood Care Center.

After moving to Spokane and attending school she worked in the banking industry before meeting and marrying Frank Walt. They had four children: Vickie, Nancy, Sherry and Frank. They later moved to Coeur d'Alene and divorced.

Then she met Bob Mader and had one child, Bobbi. Together Dolly and Bob owned the Lariet Tavern which is now where Rockin' Robin sits. After selling the bar she worked for Gem State construction, owned by Loren

Murphy, as a bookkeeper for many years. She loved to travel, play bingo and go to Two Rivers Casino.

She is survived by her children, Frank Walt of San Diego Calif., Vickie and Barry (Walt) Forell of Naples, ID, Nancy and Scott (Walt) Faulkner of Selah, Wash., Sherry & Kenny (Walt) Akins of Rathdrum, and Bobbi and Ken (Mader) Francis of Rathdrum; six grandkids and seven great- grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Helen Kirchbaum, first husband Frank Walt, second husband Bob Mader, two grandchildren, Sean Ellis and Julie Ann Ellis, and longtime companion Loren "Curly" Heisel.

The family wishes to thank the people of Pinewood for the excellent care that was taken of Dolly. Also the wonderful Hospice of North Idaho people for their care and understanding. You are all greatly appreciated.
