VETERAN: Gone, but not forgotten

| November 14, 2010 9:00 PM

Talk about living in one of the greatest places on Earth. Not only is Coeur d'Alene a beautiful city by a lake, home to some of the most genuine people I've ever met. It is also home to the Coeur d'Alene Fire Department where my husband Josh "Hoss" Hoston is a fireman.

Currently he finds himself at Camp Shelby with the Idaho 116th Army Cavalry Brigade headed to Iraq. I'm writing this on Veterans Day so you can imagine my surprise when a red, white and blue flower arrangement was delivered to our door this afternoon. It was from the Coeur d'Alene Fire Department.

I would like to thank them for remembering us on this day and for looking out for my daughter and me while my husband is away serving our country. Thank you for your words of encouragement and support.
