City leaf pickup is ongoing

COEUR d'ALENE - They're coming back.

The city of Coeur d'Alene's street department will be picking up leaves through Thanksgiving, so if your neighborhood has been cleared already and you still have leaves, don't worry.

They'll be back.

The pick up program has been under way in the north, east and outlying areas, but will start up Monday in the southern section of town, before working back up north.

When all is said and done, the city expects to collect 1,500 tons of leaves.
