Press Christmas for All applications available beginning Monday

Completed forms should be returned no later than Dec. 6

Those wishing to sign up for assistance from the 25th annual Press Christmas for All charity program can pick up applications during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, at:

* The Coeur d'Alene Press, 201 Second St., Coeur d'Alene

* Post Falls City Hall, 408 Spokane St., Post Falls

Completed applications should be returned to either of the above locations no later than Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. Only one application per household will be accepted.

Press Christmas for All is a holiday charity program. Donations are collected and distributed in the form of gift cards to Kootenai County residents in need.

Gift cards in pre-determined amounts in sealed envelopes will be ready for applicants to pick up on Dec. 16 and 17 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Kootenai County Fire and Rescue Administration Building 5271 E. Seltice Way, Post Falls.

Applicants must provide identification (state ID card or driver's license) before being given an envelope.

The program is managed by The Hagadone Corp., with tremendous assistance from Kootenai County Fire and Rescue. It is a legally recognized 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers at The Hagadone Corp., the Coeur d'Alene Press and Kootenai County Fire and Rescue. Every single penny raised is distributed to the needy. All overhead costs are covered by The Hagadone Corp. and the volunteers at Kootenai County Fire and Rescue.
