Barbara Izetta Brow, 73

On Nov. 9, 2010, Barbara Izetta Brow was called home to be with the Lord after her struggle with cancer. She passed away peacefully in her Coeur d'Alene home surrounded by her family. She was 73.

Barbara was born in Chickasha, Okla., on Jan. 21, 1937, to Thelma (Powers) and Carl Smith. She graduated from Vancouver High School in Vancouver, Wash., in 1955.

After marrying Charles E. Lack they moved to California and started a family. They had two daughters. Charles passed away in 1964. She later married Charles P. Ralston and she had another daughter.

Barbara moved to Hauser Lake with her husband Joseph J. Brow in 1990. She worked for many years at the Yacht Club Sales and Service on Blackwell Island until her retirement in 2007. She was an active member of Calvary Chapel in Coeur d'Alene and enjoyed her Bible study group.

She was preceded in death by both her parents and one of her two sisters, also Joseph her husband of 16 years.

She is survived by three daughters: Beth Thompson (Gerry) of Coeur d'Alene; Debra Bethell (Bill) of Sacramento, Calif.; and Carol Loscutoff (Daniel) of Roseville, Calif. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at The Calvary Chapel, 80 E. Wilbur Ave. No. 3, Dalton Gardens; (208) 765-9673.

Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the North Idaho Hospice, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, ID 83835.
