Jerry Kramer to take inaugural ride on Vandal plane

MOSCOW- Sandpoint High and University of Idaho football legend Jerry Kramer will be making history again.

Kramer, along with his daughter, Alicia, will be taking the inaugural flight on Horizon Airline's newest collegiate plane from Boise to Moscow.

Adorned with silver and gold, the Vandal plane will land at the Pullman-Moscow Airport on Wednesday at 10:49 a.m. PST.

University of Idaho leadership, Horizon delegates, the Vandal marching band, cheerleaders and others will be on hand to greet the plane.

Rathdrum starting adult 3-on-3 basketball league

RATHDRUM - The Rathdrum Parks and Recreation Department is now offering an adult 3-on-3 basketball league.

Players must be 18 years or older. All games will be played in the new gym at Lakeland High. League play will start on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, and run through Sunday, Feb. 20.

The cost is $100 per team, and players must sign up as a team. Teams will consist of four players.

Registration will run through Dec. 30, or when the league is full.
