Pinnacle Physical Therapy to hold annual food drive

| November 6, 2010 9:00 PM

COEUR d'ALENE - The season of thanks is also the season to give.

Pinnacle Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine proudly presents its third annual food drive to benefit the Coeur d'Alene Food Bank this Thanksgiving season. Beginning Monday, drop off will be set up at both the Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene clinics. The collection will run to Nov. 19.

"Because a majority of my staff and I grew up in this community, I see this food drive as a responsibility, a way to give back and show support to the community that has supported us," owner Mark Bengtson said.

Food banks across the country are battling shortages of non-perishable foods and an increase of demand.

Non-perishable food can be dropped off from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The food will be delivered to the food bank the week of Thanksgiving. The locations are at 1590 E. Polston Ave. in Post Falls, and in Coeur d'Alene at 3322 Grand Mill Lane, in the Mill River development. Info: 777-4242.
