Sharon Lee Moore, 67

Sharon, beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Nov. 3, 2010, at Kootenai Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 3, 1942, in Coeur d'Alene, to Ed and Ann (Neumiller) Philippi, the youngest of three children. Sharon attended Coeur d'Alene High School, class of 1960, then studied hair design and cosmetology, also, later attending classes at North Idaho College. She worked a variety of jobs, her last being at St. Vincent De Paul.

Sharon was an amazing and wonderful woman. She possessed great artistic talent shown through her work in miniatures and card making as well as in being an accomplished pianist. She had a passion for theater, music, art and literature. She loved gardening and being outdoors. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She lived life with courage, strength, integrity, kindness and love for others above herself. She also had a great sense of humor, a lot of spunk and a love of the whimsical. Having great faith Sharon was also an active member of Coeur d'Alene Bible Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Leasa; sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and James Ellis; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Alma and Don Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews. Additional members of her family include stepdaughters Robin and Teresa and their families. She is much loved and will be greatly missed by family and her many friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ed Jr.; and her husband of 38 years, John.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. Fourth St., Coeur d'Alene.
