McNeill guides Raiders past Chiefs

PRINCE ALBERT, Saskatchewan - Mark McNeill scored two goals for the Prince Albert Raiders in a 5-2 win over the Spokane Chiefs in Western Hockey League action at the Art Hauser Centre on Wednesday night.

Prince Albert took a 2-0 lead in the opening 4:34 of the first period. Spokane pulled to within 2-1 midway through the period as Levko Koper scored his eighth goal of the season, and fifth in his last six games.

Spokane's Brady Brassart scored his first goal of the season to tie the game at 2-2 with 1:56 remaining in the first.

Prince Albert took the lead for good on a goal by Todd Fiddler with 11 seconds remaining in the first period and pulled away on a pair of late goals for the win, ending a seven-game losing streak.

Spokane (7-8) travels to play the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday.
