Kootenai County Sheriff
Friday
11:41 a.m.: Cash totaling about $1,700 was reported stolen from a business located in the 3600 block of West Riverbend Avenue near Post Falls. A former employee is a suspect in the theft.
1:14 p.m.: Damages of about $300 were reportedly done to the fence and a window at a residence in the 30600 block of North Caravelle Road near Athol. A wakeboard, a Vizio TV and miscellaneous tools with a total value of about $2,100 were reported stolen from the home.
Sunday
6:08 p.m.: Two gold and diamond necklaces valued at $1,800 were reported stolen from a 1999 Maxim boat moored at a business in the 34000 block of North Lakeside Avenue in Bayview.
Monday
8 a.m.: Two newspaper vending machines with a total value of about $1,500 were reported stolen from the 13500 block of East Highway 54 near Athol and the 29700 block of North Highway 95 near Athol.
