Coeurly Q's announces summer dances

Events culminate with grange dance at City Park on July 28

The Coeurly Q's square dancing group will hold a series of dances throughout the summer.

The dances will be held Wednesday evenings, rain or shine.

Squares and rounds will be on the agenda from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on each of the evenings. All dances are casual dress.

A $3 donation is requested.

The dances kick off in Rathdrum City Park, just off Highway 53, on June 2, 9, 16 June 23.

On July 7 and 14 they will be held at Coeur d'Alene Bluegrass Park, 5757 Dalton Ave. and Courcelles Parkway. From the Northwest Boulevard exit off Interstate 90, take Ramsey Road north to Dalton Avenue. Turn left, go west to the park, and look for the gazebo.

On July 21 the dance will be held outside at Harding Family Center at 15th and Wallace in Coeur d'Alene.

On July 28 the Old-Fashioned Grange Dance will be held in the Coeur d'Alene City Park picnic shelter, with live music by the Red Heads.

Ed Schiffner will be the master of ceremonies for all dances. All callers and cuers are invited to come join in.
