May 18, 1946 - May 17, 2010

A beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. William, known to everyone who knew him as Spike.

He served 24 years between 1965-1989 in the United States Coast Guard. He spent four years from 1965-1969 doing eight campaigns. His last was a river rat on the McKong Delta. Spike was also affiliated with several motorcycle groups over the years.

Spike was preceded in death by his parents, William Fisher Sr. and Shirley Fisher and a brother, Guy Fisher.

He left behind his loving wife of 25 years, Terri Fisher; daughters Kimberly Knife (Ryan) and Shannon Fisher; a son, Jason Fisher (Doreen); brothers Philip Fisher, Rodney Fisher and Larry Fisher; and sisters Peggy Fisher and Debbie Erickson; and several grandchildren and many loving friends. He is well loved and missed.

Spike’s favorite pastimes were riding his motorcycle, fishing with his wife and grandkids, camping and hunting. His love of guns and knives was his passion. Spike and his wife, Terri, adopted several grandkids along the way. Him and his grandson, Kayleb shared a birthday together and every year they shopped and spent the day with each other. His yearly love was playing the part of Santa Clause. Over the years he made many children’s Christmas truly amazing.

His wish was to be put to rest at sea and that is where he will sail the ocean blue.
