SENIORS: Projects show their passion

| May 16, 2010 10:00 PM

On Wednesday evening, I joined two LCHS teachers and evaluated six students presenting their senior projects. The projects were as diverse as the students presenting them -- a hobby, a passion, a future career, a path of study. The interesting thing to me is that from none of these students did I get the impression that this was just another task to complete before the diploma was handed to them. These students truly cared about the topic and expressed passion for the time and energy spent to complete the project, paper and presentation. For me, it was informative and enlightening.

LCHS seniors are breathing a sigh of relief to have this finished, however CHS seniors are slated to present their projects at the end of the month.  I encourage anyone who can make the time to contact the school to see if judges are still needed. You will not regret this look into our high school community.

Congratulations to the Class of 2010 and good luck on the goals you set for yourself
