Born Oct. 6, 1957, and passed away April 26, 2010, due to multiple organ failure. Michael was a loving son, brother, father, husband, uncle and good friend. He was born in Spokane and moved to Rathdrum at the age of 12 where he attended school, graduating from Lakeland High School in 1977.

Michael also enjoyed TV, in particular the military and history channels, reruns of “Hogan’s Heroes” and football especially when his beloved Minnesota Vikings were playing.

Michael was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents. He leaves behind his parents, Mary and Carl Charvat; wife April; sons Michael, Khrisefer, Cory and Kyle Charvat; stepdaughter Wendi; brother Steve; grandsons Michael Shane and Parker Slade Charvat; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
