James (Jim) P. Madden, 89

James (Jim) P. Madden, 89 of Hayden, passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2010. He was born Aug. 13, 1920, in Deer Park, Wash., to Frank and Belle Madden.

Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Madden and children Patrick Madden, Sharon Vick, Frank Madden and Luanna Manning.

Jim was also loved by his seven grandchildren, Tom, Jim, Harley, Mac, Dee Dee, Jason and Misty and his nine great-grandchildren, Alex, Alli, Corgan, Atticus, DeVonte, Halie, James, Jason and Jordyn. Also cousin Carmen and husband Lee Rickey.

Jim was a WWII Navy Veteran, lifetime member of the VFW and retired from United Air Lines after working 45 years as an Aircraft and Jet Engine Mechanic. He loved his wife Dorothy and all his family, traveling, hunting, fishing, camping, playing poker and telling jokes.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date.
