Jobs Plus votes in new boards of directors on Tuesday

Members of Jobs Plus Economic Development Corp voted in their new boards of directors at the organization's annual luncheon on Tuesday.

Jim Glenn and Tim Komberec will serve four year terms on the board.

Members also honored outgoing Director Dave Palmer with a round of applause.

Coeur d'Alene Cellars will bottle 1,700 cases of wine

Coeur d'Alene Cellars Winery, 3890 N. Schreiber Way, is preparing to bottle 1,700 cases of premium wine Thursday and Friday.

After months of blending, aging, adjusting, and of course, tasting, the wines are staged into 1,200-gallon tanks in preparation for the stainless steel mobile bottling line to arrive.

"The winery invites a loyal support network of friends and family to come help with bottling - and to eat and drink during the busy bottling festivities," according to a press release.

In two days, the winery will bottle 1,700 cases, an average of one bottle every two seconds. Six different wines will be produced, including the 2009 Viognier, 2009 Chardonnay, 2009 No. 6 White, 2009 L'Artiste unoaked Viognier, 2008 Mourvedre, and the first year of its 2009 Syrah Rose.

Coeur d'Alene Cellars welcomes the public for the bottling, tasting the newly bottled wines and a tour of the winery.

Art Spirit Gallery is featured gallery for Friday's Artwalk

Friday is this month's Artwalk. Join us for a fun evening and enjoy the local arts in downtown Coeur d'Alene from 5-8 p.m. The featured gallery is The Art Spirit Gallery. Timberline Resources Corp reports revenues of $5.26M

Timberline Resources Corporation on Monday reported total consolidated revenues of $5.26 million and a consolidated after-tax net loss of $0.91 million.

Timberline's contract drilling subsidiaries, Timberline Drilling Incorporated and World Wide Exploration, S.A. de C.V. reported combined revenues of $5.26 million and a combined after-tax net income of $0.23 million for the second quarter. This marks the fourth consecutive quarter of positive combined net income for Timberline's contract drilling subsidiaries.

Timberline's corporate office and exploration division reported a net loss of $1.14 million for the quarter ended March 31.

"We are very pleased with these quarterly results," said Timberline CEO Randal Hardy. "At Timberline Drilling, our team has successfully navigated a very challenging period over the past year."

Coeur d'Alene Triathlon seeking event sponsors
