Leo L. Mink, 81

Leo L. Mink found peace on Feb. 12, 2010. He was born Nov. 29, 1928, in Weiser to Hilda and Jack Mink.

Leo lived in Council where he worked and raised his family. He married Ruth Lehman in 1989 in Council. They traveled for several years enjoying retirement. Then settled down in Coeur d’Alene where he worked at Silverwood training young kids how to run the rides. The Timber of Terror was his favorite. He then volunteered at Kootenai Medical Center, for several years. Leo attended the Coeur d’Alene Bible Church for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two children Jim and Nancy Mink of Wilder, Mike and LeiLani Keller of Lewiston; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; four stepdaughters; one stepson and 12 step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Gloria and granddaughter Rebecca.

There will be graveside service in Council at a later date. Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
