Fair housing training forum scheduled

COEUR d'ALENE - A free forum on fair housing training is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. April 9 at the Coeur d'Alene Public Library.

The featured speakers will be Richard Mabbutt, executive director of the Intermountain Fair Housing Council in Boise, and Ken Nagy, fair housing attorney from Lewiston.

Fair housing basics, disability rights and responsibilities, reasonable accommodations and legal decisions will be reviewed.

The session is recommended for housing providers, rental agents and rental tenants, as well as representatives for assisted living facilities, nursing homes and community shelters, organizers said.
