Charter School delivers documents

NAMPA (AP) - A southwestern Idaho charter school facing the possible revocation of its charter next month has supplied information to the Idaho Public Charter School Commission that will resolve any problems, a school official says.

Nampa Classical Academy board member Erik Makrush said he delivered about 1,700 pages to the commission on Friday.

Makrush said the documents show the school is financially stable, not using religious texts in the classroom, and addresses concerns the commission has about Isaac Moffett, the founder of the school as well as a teacher at the school.

The commission earlier this month issued a notice of intent to revoke the school's charter after the school failed to produce budget documents on time.

Last year, the commission told officials at the publicly funded charter they couldn't use the Bible in class.
