Summer Arts Program registration begins

The Summer Arts Program for Youth offers a variety of arts classes each year. It is sponsored by the Coeur d'Alene Arts Commission and is held at Harding Family Center at 411 N. 15th Street.

Classes are available for pre-kindergarden through 10th grade and are held Tuesdays through Thursdays, June 22, 23, 24; June 29, 30, July 1; July 6, 7, 8; July 13, 14, 15. Each class runs for three days, two hours each day. The registration fee is $30 per class and includes supplies.

Classes include watercolor, guitar, arts and crafts, rhythm and music, mosaics, and more. Classes are targeted to different age groups.

The pre-kindergarten class is limited to six and is specifically for younger siblings of students enrolled in other classes with a fee of $16 for a 3-day class.

Brochures with mail-in registration forms will be available in late April at Harding Family Center, Coeur d'Alene City Hall and Chamber of Commerce, Burt's Music and Sound, Borders Books, Creative Element, the Cd'A and Hayden Libraries, and at www.cdaid.org
