KNIFVES to meet in Ponderay

The KNIFVES organization will hold its April meeting at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites at 11:30 a.m. April 8 in Ponderay.

The guest speaker will be Chris Ervin, a visual effects artist, creative director and designer.

Ervin has worked as a graphic artist and creative consultant with artists such as Limp Bizkit, Metallica, No Doubt, and The Eagles.

He has worked on over 50 features, and hundreds of television and promotional campaigns. In 2003 Ervin was nominated for a Best Visual Effects award at the DVD Premiere Movie Awards in Los Angeles.

The luncheon is free for members and first time attendees and is $5 for non-members.

KNIFVES (Northwest Independent Film and Video Entertainment Society) is dedicated to providing an open forum to all Inland Northwest Film, Video and Live Entertainment professionals, amateurs and enthusiasts to promote knowledge, education, training and networking.
