Tawnya L. Dennison, 34

Tawnya L. Dennison passed away March 22, 2010, in Coeur d’Alene. She was born April 19, 1975, in Weiser to Terry and Cheryl (Jost) Dolan.

Tawnya was raised in Coeur d’Alene and graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1993. She went to the University of Idaho earning her master’s degree. On May 30, 1997, at St. Pius Catholic Church in Coeur d’Alene Tawnya married Jeffrey Dennison. She was a lifetime resident of Coeur d’Alene.

Tawnya was an IBI therapist for the Coeur d’Alene School District. She was a member of Real Life Ministries and enjoyed playing softball, shopping, camping and rafting. She loved working with special needs children and spending time with her boys.

Tawnya is survived by her husband, Jeff at home; sons Jacob and Justin; parents Terry and Shirley Dolan and Cheryl and Dan Gamache; brother Josh Dolan; sister Tarah Dolan; grandparents Shirley and Mel Winebarger, Mike and Beth Dolan, Marge and Curt Denny and Pete Moore; nieces and nephews Jensen Dolan, Ezra Grigg, Kierra Grigg, Aaliyah Lopez; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Martha Moore; grandfather Richard Jost; cousin Cathy Jost and uncle Mike Douglas.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2010, at English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d’Alene. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Real Life Ministries, Building 2, Post Falls. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene. A reception will follow the burial at the Coeur d’Alene Eagles.
