Rosholt, Hall shine at NCAAs

OMAHA, Neb. - A pair of wrestlers with ties to North Idaho battled their way through some of the best competition in the nation to place second and third respectively in the NCAA championships.

Former Sandpoint High wrestler and current Oklahoma State Cowboy Jared Rosholt placed second in the 285 class, falling to Iowa State's David Zabriskie by a 3-2 decision.

Adam Hall of Boise State finished third at 157 pounds after defeating Steve Fittery of American by a 6-4 decision. Hall is a graduate of Bonners Ferry High.

Iowa wrapped up its third-straight national team title during Friday night's session.
