PROGRESSIVE: It's a four-letter word

| March 18, 2010 11:02 AM

Nothing personal Tom Hearn, but you are incorrect in your assessment of what a Progressive is in today’s political climate.

Obama, Pelosi and the many Czars that have been appointed, claim to be “progressives.” They have taken that title to lead people like you into believing that they are for moderate political change. I do not believe for one second that “progressives” like Van Jones, Bill Ayers and his wife fall into that category. Maybe your article should have been called “Communist: It’s not a dirty word”!

Obama has said over and over again he wants to “transform” this government. He was not kidding when he said that word, transform. His idea of transformation is to use his left wing puppets to carry out his agenda. As we all know, Obama subscribes to the Karl Marx and the Saul Alinsky theory. This is when the state, or in this case the Republic, has withered away and economic goods are being distributed equally. For example, TARP/Obamacare. This comes right out of the communist’s playbook.

So, if Obama is calling himself a “progressive”, it is a dirty word.  He has driven the nation’s debt over the edge.  He has nationalized one industry after another, i.e. the Banks and the automotive industry. Obama is ruining the free markets and is disregarding the Constitution on a daily basis. I don’t believe this is the “change” that the majority wants. Remember, Obama was elected to be President, not a dictator. He must work within the Constitution whether he likes it or not.
