HISTORY: Live, learn from it

On Sunday, Feb. 7 was an article written by Maragete Fallat. I was born in late 1930’s so I have heard this story, or ones like it after the war when I was a kid. I believe every word of what she said. All young people should read this and know that this is happening through history, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot and others have done this to their nations and some are still doing this today. Only like this fine lady and others like her does the truth come out to the rest of the world.

In this case during this period of time I have heard that the letters written to relatives and friends in the U.S. by people living in Germany and telling of this and the American people would not believe what they were reading. Thankfully, at that time, General Eisenhower had film and photos taken of the concentration camps and the furnaces. We must as a world do all we can to stop the ones doing this to others. Thank you, Maragete Fallat for coming forward to talk to people on this and also thank you to David Gunter for writing this up.
