Cd'A boys win Lewiston tourney

| March 11, 2010 8:00 PM

LEWISTON - Coeur d'Alene's boys shot a 308 to win the Lewiston Invitational on Thursday at the Lewiston Country Club.

No individual scores for the Vikings were reported.

Post Falls placed third in the girls tournament at Bryden Canyon.

"It was cold and windy," Post Falls girls coach Jeff Hinz said. "We're supposed to go to Lewiston to get warmer, not colder."

Lake City finished fifth in the boys team standings with a 369.

"We're still seeking a level of consistency," Lake City boys coach Kent Scanlon said. "The kids started to get cold and it sometimes is no fun to play in. After all the mild weather we'd been having, it turned into late winter, early spring the last two matches."
